Space creation#
A person can create a new space to store and manage an arbitrary number of files. A space has a name and an optional description of its contents. Collaborators of a space have access to the files in accordance with their assigned privileges.
Owner#
Each space and all of its data belong to exactly one organization. The organization provides the necessary resources in the form of storage space and is responsible for the data.
Secure space#
A space can be marked as secure. This requires all persons accessing it to authenticate themselves securely. Typically, this is achieved by using multifactor authentication.
Space collaborators#
Collaborators can access a space and its files.
Access privileges define what collaborators can do: a space admin can invite new collaborators to the space. Collaborators with more restricted privileges like read and write are only allowed to view the collaborators inside this space.
