Contacting persons#

Via Email#

A person must add at least one email address to his account. Multiple addresses are supported.

An email address can only be claimed by one person at any time.

Expiration#

Any new email address must be verified within a short period of time, confirming the person has control over it. When that time expires, any unverified email address must be removed. This may result in a person without any email addresses. Such an account would be unusable and must be removed. This removal cascades to other backend services, where data belonging to the person must be deleted.

Similarly, removing the person may lead to abandoned organizations whereby an organization has no members with administrative privileges. These organizations cannot be managed and must be removed as well. Removing an organization cascades across to other backend services as well, deleting data the organization is responsible for.
